The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade went live in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. But factor into how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
